"Punish not those who are sinless; embrace those who embrace us so" - Xeclyde House motto (Chapter 17)

The Royal Family of the Saint Mesit Theocracy. The Xeclyde House has led the Genesis Goddess Church over thousands of years despite other power hungry organizations wanting to have the seat of the pope since the Xeclydes inherited the Angel bloodline. A possessor of this bloodline is considered to be descendants of angels, beings that are considered to be closest to the gods. A possessor of this bloodline also had power as this bloodline was guaranteed to be Gold-tier as long as it is awakened, guaranteeing the possessor a life of success. Gold-tier awakeners undergo Seraphication where their powers and divine instinct go berserk. Currently, Nora Xeclyde is the youngest awakener of the gold tier of Angel bloodline.

As the Royal Family, they can directly command the Five Eminent Noble Houses but can not command their subordinates. If they did so, it would be viewed as an act of undermining the dignity of the Elric House. Such an action would bring about condemnation from the other nobles.

Their insignia is of the Guardian of Radiant Wings.

Relationship[]

As the Xeclyde Family is the Royal family of Saint Mesit Theocracy, it can be argued that their relationships extends to Saint Mesit Theocracy's relationships.

Five Eminent Noble Houses[]

Each of these houses have a lot of history so even the Xeclyde family has to keep a friendly relationship with them. Out of all of the houses, Ascart House is the closest to the Xeclydes for their actions in the March Turmoil (See Saint Mesit Theocracy's History on March Turmoil). The Ascart House acknowledged the values of the Xeclyde family and saw that they were similar. At the start of the Third Epoch, the Xeclyde Family pledged to protect Ascart House's bloodline origin attribute possessors.

Trivia[]

  • Centuries ago, a member of the Xeclyde Family was assassinated by an evil cult. Following that, the Theocracy pursued the 10,000 transcendent strong cult for forty years never allowing them a moment of rest. This left a warning to other cults creating a consensus to never mess with the Xeclydes.
  • As the Xeclyde House values purity, they can only take one companion for life no matter what. The virtue of purity took precedence over everything else.
  • The Angel bloodline awakening is a journey for an awakener to search his/her roots in order to reconnect with their Angel lineage. It differs for each awakener. For example, Holy Eminence John awakened his bloodline thanks to one of the seven Archangels which made him one of the powerhouses of the continent.
