It was suggested that Victoria and Ponte might still be alive in Roel's time since they are both high-level transcendents and it has only been one hundred years.

She was a woman who looked like an angel. Her beautiful looks and her graceful demeanor made her an unforgettable silhouette in the hearts of many. She has a childlike figure.
She can be compared to Nora Xeclyde, in both appearance and personality. For example, like Nora, she has a sadistic streak and has pleasure over teasing Ponte.

Victoria proposed to Ponte since they had become close during the events of the March Turmoil but Ponte rejected her since their age gap was too big and because of their teacher-student relationship. Ponte already had a family then.
She faked her marriage. Her "husband" William, was a close maid that was cross-dressing. She faked her marriage in order to raise Wade's children so that they can become the successors of the throne. She also did this for Ponte. Twenty years later, Ponte's wife passed away. Ponte was in his fifties and Victoria was approaching her forties. Since they were transcendents, they were still in their prime.
This is Nora's theory:
Victoria faked her death and passed her crown to Wade's children. Several years later, Ponte too had disappeared saying that he would investigate the fate of the missing Ascarts in history and after that, no news came of him.
