The current pope of the Genesis Goddess Church and emperor of the Saint Mesit Theocracy. He founded the Genesis Goddess Church, which worships the Goddess of Creation, Sia. He is considered to be one of the greatest heroes of mankind and has the largest amount of influence over the Sia Continent. Many go to the Holy Capital in hopes of being able to see him.
He is the protector of the Holy Capital where nothing there goes unseen by him. He focuses on the affairs of the church, leaving the governance of the Saint Mesit Theocracy to his son, Kane Xeclyde.
During his younger days, he defeated the high priest of deviants during a holy war but almost died from the battle. He was able to survive thanks to Pendor's knights' charging. Thanks to this, John's name spread far and wide and this allowed his seat on the throne to be stable too.
Appearance and Personality[]
John Xeclyde was a white-haired old man who looked surprisingly unkempt, even though that was just by the standards of the more straight-laced nobles.
If one were to take a closer look, one would realize that despite the lack of a smile on his face, he still gave off an air of benevolence. Due to his high age, he is very wise. He complimented Roel for standing up for justice during Nora's birthday. He understands the darkness that Roel and Nora will have to fight in the future and does not believe that it will be any easier than the darkness he fought on the battlefield.
As a high level transcendent of the Compassion Origin Attribute, he appears to be a sage to a mortal's eyes, while lies and sins couldn’t hope to deceive his eyes.
He has a comfortable voice that sets people's minds at ease.
He dotes on his granddaughter a lot.
