Grandar is the King of Giants, as well as Roel Ascart's first contracted ancient god. He was searching for someone to pass down his power before he met Roel. Roel passed Grandar's test once he answered Grandar's question, "How do the dead pass down their power?"

He commands the Strength Origin Attribute, making him the ancient god at the root of the Strength Sect.

Appearance and Personality[]

Grandar manifests as a crimson skeleton giant at Roel's summons. In Roel's dreams in the Witness State, he was a giant skeleton with a sword through it's chest. He also wears a tattered cape. His towering figure can make him look like a god.

He has a prideful and caring personality. He often puts down others, such as calling transcendents below Origin Level 3 as 'trash' and 'weak', though he carefully chooses his words to avoid insulting Roel. He can be innocent at times, such as how he was delighted when Roel mentioned that 'he was riding on the back of a giant' even though Roel was referring to the knowledge accrued over generations of brilliant minds in the modern world.

Background[]

Grandar and his army attacked the Savior and killed him after he went crazy from Mother Goddess's Black Moon. The Savior's spirit was sealed after he was killed.

Powers and Abilities[]

As an ancient god, there are not many that can rival him. He is considered to be an Origin Level 1 with God's Domain.

Immense Strength[]

Grandar boasts great physical prowess as a giant, a race known for its overwhelming might. One punch was enough to take down the Origin Level 2 severely injured Wade Xeclyde.

Undead Reanimation[]

His nature as a skeleton allows him to temporarily imbue an individual with the attributes of the undead, thus significantly reducing the damage sustained and minimizes the weakening effect caused by injuries. However, this, in turns, makes the individual vulnerably to holy magic, and prolonged state of undead reanimation can result in severe side effects. This status can be removed through holy magic dispel.

Relationships[]

Roel Ascart[]

Grandar and Roel consider each other to be friends.

Grandar had a good relationship with Roel from the beginning. He liked his ideals and his answers. For this reason, he decided to help Roel by lending him a very powerful spell during his March Turmoil Witness State.
